We have an exciting client that is looking to add a skilled PowerShell Developer job to their team to help with automation of backend processes. In this role, you will utilize your skills with PowerShell and other tools & skills like Azure DevOps, C# and CI/CD.
The position is full-time and remote with roughly bi-monthly travel to their office in Cleveland, Ohio for important meetings. Target salary for this role is between $75,000 - $125,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities for the PowerShell Developer job:
- Work with other teams to determine requirements for automation requests and record details in our code repository.
- Develop scripts and applications based on requirements and design specifications. Complete code review with the teams impacted by the development work.
- Test scripts and runbooks and assure data generated and retained follow compliance guidelines for our non-production environments.
- Deploy code updates via pipeline, including baked in unit tests and validation.
Job Qualifications for the PowerShell Developer job:
- Two (2) or more years of developer work experience and at least 5 years in IT
- Development experience with C# and PowerShell, and experience with Visual Studio. Understanding of DevOps and Agile principles, including CI/CD and sprints.
- Working knowledge leveraging Git or Azure DevOps for source control.
- Strong working knowledge of software deployment/development life cycles.
